McCurtain County has something for everyone, from canoeing & fly fishing the Mountain Fork River, the water sports of Broken Bow Lake and the camping and hiking in the many forest areas we have to offer. The Beavers Bend Resort Park, has plenty of attractions for all ages which include hiking trails, a swim beach, paddle boats, canoes, train rides, and a horse stable.
The Park is also home to the Cedar Creek Golf Course, for those golf enthusiast. McCurtain County is also home to the Red River Museum in Idabel Oklahoma, on display is the dinosaur skeleton cast that was excavated in McCurtain County, for more information you can visit www.museumoftheredriver.org.
